At Muddy Puddles Ice Cream, our mission is rooted in the joy, laughter, and light of our late son, Maximillion. Inspired by his love for life’s simple pleasures—from jumping in muddy puddles to enjoying a scoop of strawberry ice cream—we are dedicated to honoring his memory by fostering deep connections within our community. Through Maximillion’s Muddy Puddles Foundation, we strive to turn our grief into gratitude by raising funds for the Indianola Children’s Memorial Splash Pad. We believe that by coming together to build spaces where families can laugh, play, and make memories, we can spread kindness and keep Maximillion’s spirit shining bright for everyone.

This week the National Balloon Classic kicks off in our community! This event is one that makes Indianola a special place to live. The magic the kids (and adults) find in the hot air balloon creates deep rooted, lasting childhood memories. We are proud to be participating and to hopefully be a small part of those memories. You can find the truck at the field daily starting Friday July 31. We are also creating something special in the shop. We will be releasing 5 new, unique flavors to represent 5 balloons in our community (the names helped with the creations!).
